PF. 15th March, 1939, regarding the resignation of Dr. (Mrs.) 385256.RL. 0. Hunter from her temporary appointment as Lady

Medical Officer I have the honour to recommend for your

approval the appointment in her place of Dr. (Mrs.) A. L.

Forbes, H.B., Ch.B., of the University of Edinburgh, as

Lady Medical Officer, Maternity and Child Welfare, on the

usual temporary basis, as from 4th March, 1939.
